Curling’s sophomore album, Definitely Band, was mixed and mastered entirely in mono when it debuted back in 2018. The record is a kaleidoscopic melting pot of Beatles-esque guitar pop, shoegaze haze, and a bit of post-punk math rock, all swirling together across ten tracks. We love the iconic sound of that record in all of its smeared glory, but still, we've always wondered: what if we had decided to make the album in stereo?

To celebrate the 6-year anniversary of Definitely Band, the band revisited the original tracks to reimagine two of their favorite songs in stereo from the ground up. These aren't just the original mono mixes with some instruments panned to the side; these new stereo mixes are complete re-imaginings of the songs.
